Description

Bahía de las Águilas is considered one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the Caribbean. Located in the extreme southwest of the Dominican Republic, within Jaragua National Park, this white sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters is a true virgin paradise spanning more than 8 kilometers.

The tour includes a boat trip from Pedernales or Cabo Rojo to the bay, where you will spend the day enjoying this practically deserted paradise beach. The beach is surrounded by virgin nature, without hotels or buildings, making it a unique and exclusive destination for those seeking to escape mass tourism and connect with nature in its purest state.

In addition to enjoying the beach, you can snorkel in nearby reefs, observe marine life and enjoy a typical Dominican lunch. Water visibility is excellent and there is a great variety of marine life in the reefs near the coast.

### Jaragua National Park and Responsible Tourism

Bahía de las Águilas is located within Jaragua National Park, a protected area under Law 202-04 and recognized as part of the Jaragua–Bahoruco–Enriquillo Biosphere Reserve. Our tours respect the carrying capacity established by the Environment Ministry, the prohibition of leaving trash on the beach, and the prohibition of extracting corals, shells or wildlife.

We ask that you take back everything you bring (zero waste), maintain a quiet environment (no loud music), and use biodegradable sunscreen when possible. Your visit helps finance park conservation programs.
