Description

Discover the Cave of Wonders, an impressive natural cave located between La Romana and San Pedro de Macorís, which houses one of the most important collections of pre-Hispanic rock art in the Caribbean. This cave was declared a Natural Monument and is the first rock art museum in the Antilles.

The tour includes a guided walk through illuminated corridors where you can admire more than 500 pictographs made by the Taíno indigenous people more than 800 years ago. In addition, you will see impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations, natural water mirrors and areas that have formed over thousands of years.

The cave has a constant and pleasant temperature, and the corridors are wide and safe. The park has ramps and an elevator to facilitate access. It is a perfect experience for the whole family, combining history, culture, and nature.
